As amended, House Bill 137 would allow an individual with a valid concealed carry permit to lawfully carry a concealed weapon in any meeting of a government entity, including the state Legislature. Individuals with a concealed carry permit are some of the most responsible and law-abiding citizens in Wyoming and should not be prevented from carrying a firearm for self-defense.
