The Massachusetts State Legislature has instituted an 18-month suspension of its newly implemented live-fire training requirements for gun owners. As highlighted throughout the legislative process by the NRA and Second Amendment advocates, these unconstitutional and unobtainable training requirements block law-abiding citizens' ability to obtain permits to carry firearms in the Bay State. Now, with federal court challenges looming, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is attempting to walk back some of its extreme gun control measures.
The suspended live-fire training requirement is only one of the unconstitutional gun control provisions contained in the massive 116-page anti-gun law. To learn more about H.4885 and the dangers it poses to gun owners, click HERE.
More updates on this law are forthcoming. Please stay tuned to the NRA-ILA and GOAL websites for updates as this situation progresses.
