Illinois is the last state in the country that prohibits some form of carrying a concealed weapon. Whether that will change is an issue on the minds of many gun owning Illinoisans, ranging from lawmakers who have been clamoring for a change in the statute to county sheriffs all over the state who have come out in favor of it.
