NRA’s LaPierre and Cox to Hold Rally in Charlotte October 15 <br> U. S. Senators Bill Frist and Zell Miller to attend

FAIRFAX, VA—National Rifle Association (NRA) Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and Chief Lobbyist Chris W. Cox will campaign at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway NASCAR Event in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 15. 

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) and keynote speaker U.S. Senator Zell Miller (D-GA) will join North Carolina U.S. Senate candidate Richard Burr and U.S. House of Representatives District 8 incumbent Robin Hayes.  

Members of the news media are invited to cover the rally.  NRA officers will be available for brief interviews immediately following the event.

LaPierre and Cox will campaign in other key states in the weeks prior to Election Day.
