Constitutional Carry is sweeping the nation. 21 states already have Constitutional Carry laws in place, including Nebraska’s neighboring states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin all have Constitutional Carry legislation working through the legislature right now. Let’s work to make Nebraska number 22!
Constitutional Carry allows a law-abiding adult who is legally allowed to carry a concealed firearm, to do so without first having to obtain government permission. This ensures that citizens have the right to self-defense without government red tape or delays. Additionally, this legislation maintains the existing concealed handgun license system, so citizens who still wish to obtain a permit may do so.
Forward this alert to your family and friends and urge them to submit written testimony supporting Constitutional Carry legislation, Legislative Bill 773, in Nebraska.
