In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order No. 121 to Stay-at-Home, temporarily places restrictions on numerous businesses across the state, to go into effect March 30th at 5PM. Unlike other governors throughout the nation, Gov. Cooper must not consider our right to self-defense “essential” in these uncertain times. Under the order, however, “nonessential” businesses, such as gun stores, can continue to operate if they can meet Social Distancing Requirements.
