The Illinois General Assembly will reconvene for a Veto Session on October 28th and gun control legislation may move quickly. Anti-gun legislators are not giving up in their attempt to pass Senate Bill 1966 to criminalize private firearm transfers and unnecessarily increase the cost and red tape for a FOID. SB 1966 previously passed the House, so it is critical that the Senate votes it down in this Veto Session.
On October 29th, you’re invited to join the Illinois State Rifle Association and your NRA in Springfield to hear legislative updates and visit with your legislators to urge them to stand up for the Second Amendment during the Veto Session.
October 29th at 9:30AM
Howlett Building Auditorium
