Fairfax, Va.— The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse Fred Keller in the upcoming special election for the 12th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.
“Fred Keller is a strong advocate for the Second Amendment who has supported law-abiding gun owners throughout his career,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman, NRA-PVF. “The NRA encourages all voters in the 12th Congressional District to elect Keller to the U.S. House of Representatives.”
As a state representative, Keller voted for Castle Doctrine legislation to protect Pennsylvanians who use force to defend themselves and their loved ones from an attacker. He also voted to strengthen the state firearms preemption statute to ensure that firearm laws are consistent throughout Pennsylvania.
Keller, who is “A” rated, supports national right-to-carry reciprocity. He also opposes the criminalization of private firearm transfers, and bans on commonly owned firearms.
“We urge all voters in the 12th Congressional District to vote Fred Keller for Congress on Tuesday, May 21. He will protect our constitutional rights,” Cox concluded.
Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. More than five million members strong, NRA continues to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.
