Last week, the Idaho House passed important self-defense legislation, House Bill 206 by a 53 to 14 vote. HB 206 has been transferred to the Senate for further consideration. Please contact your state Senator and urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 206 when it comes up for a vote.
House Bill 206 would lower the age to take advantage of Idaho’s permitless carry laws from 21 to 18. This important legislation would allow those aged 18 and older who are legally allowed to carry a firearm for self-defense, to do so without having to pay fees and obtain a government-issued license to do so.
Again, please contact your state Senator and politely urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 206 when it comes up for a vote.
