Deputies say an employee fired at a gunman during a store robbery Monday night. The Four Points General Store outside of Nashville was held up around 9:00 p.m. Nash County deputies say the lone gunman demanded money out of the register from the employee. During the robbery, the employee pulled a revolver and fired multiple times as the robber ran from the store, according to deputies. The worker was not injured. A K-9 track determined that the robber got away in a vehicle parked down Red Road, and deputies say it's not known if the robber was hit by any of the shots fired by the employee.
