On August 8, the NRA and California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA) hosted a free informational webinar on the recently approved Department of Justice (DOJ) “bullet-button assault weapon" regulations. This webinar is now available to watch and listen online by clicking here. It can also be found on the California Stand and Fight webpage.
Click here to view our “Assault Weapons Quick Reference Guide” mentioned during the webinar. This reference guide is a tool to help firearm owners determine whether your firearm is considered an “assault weapon” according to California law.
Your NRA is working hard to stop the recently approved regulations by finalizing a lawsuit challenging the regulations on the grounds that they are in violation of California’s Administrative Procedures Act. This lawsuit challenging the regulatory aspect of the “assault weapons” ban will compliment the currently pending Rupp v. Becerra, challenging California’s “Assault Weapon Control Act.” For a comprehensive look at the many legal challenges supported by NRA and CRPA in California click here.
