Kansas: Contact Your State Senator in Opposition to Gun-Free Zone Legislation

The Kansas Senate could consider House Bill 2278 as early as tomorrow! Your state Senator needs to continue hearing from you now! Please contact your state Senator and immediately urge them to OPPOSE House Bill 2278 unless amended with NRA-supported language.

House Bill 2278 would make it unlawful for individuals to carry a firearm for self-defense into a state or municipal-owned medical care facility, including the Kansas University Hospital. In addition, HB 2278 would prevent the lawful carry of a firearm into community health centers and state or municipal-owned adult care homes. This bill is a solution in search of a problem, and it places an arbitrary boundary on your right to self-defense.

Again, please contact your state Senator and immediately urge them to oppose House Bill 2278 unless amended with NRA-supported language.
