Next Monday, May 1, Assembly Bill 118 is scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Sponsored by Assemblyman Skip Daly (D-31), AB 118 would allow members of the military and those who have received an honorable discharge between 18 and 20 years of age to obtain a permit to carry a concealed firearm. Current law requires a person to be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for a concealed carry permit. Please contact members of the Senate Judiciary Committee and urge them to support AB 118!
