Tomorrow, the House Public Safety Committee is scheduled to consider House Bill 1803. Sponsored by state Representative Sean Roberts, HB 1803 is the House version of the previously reported Senate Bill 386. HB 1803 would prohibit the use of public tax monies for the funding of lobbying efforts for gun control legislation.
Oklahoma residents do not pay taxes so that local elected officials can use it to push their own anti-gun political agenda. NRA members and Second Amendment supporters are encouraged to contact members of the House Public Safety Committee in SUPPORT of House Bill 1803.
