FAIRFAX, Va- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today announced its endorsement of Marty McClendon for the office of Washington Lieutenant Governor.
“On behalf of our 5 million members, we are pleased to endorse Marty McClendon for Lieutenant Governor. McClendon will provide pro-Second Amendment support and leadership in Olympia,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman, NRA-PVF. “With anti-gun elites trying to bring their gun control agenda to the statehouse, it is crucial that we elect a strong, pro-Second Amendment candidate who will stand up for the rights of law-abiding Washingtonians.”
Marty McClendon has stated his strong support for the Second Amendment and opposition to gun control. He has earned an “AQ” rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF for his pro-gun positions.
With former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg spending his personal fortune to push his extreme anti-gun agenda, it is critical for all freedom-loving Washingtonians to elect a candidate who will defend their rights.
“I urge all law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen in Washington to vote Marty McClendon for Lieutenant Governor this November,” concluded Cox.
Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group.
