On Thursday, August 11, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) posted the Sunday hunting dates for the upcoming deer seasons in Delaware. Under the recently enacted law, hunters in Delaware are now allowed to hunt deer on private lands as well as on specified public hunting land. DNREC is currently accepting public comment on proposed Sunday hunting public locations and times for the upcoming deer seasons. Maps of the proposed areas can be found here. Those Sundays where hunting will be allowed on private and posted public lands are Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Nov. 20, Dec. 11 of this year, and Jan. 15, 2017.
