At yesterday’s Kure Beach Town Council meeting, the council voted to postpone the "guns in or on town property" discussion to tomorrow, Thursday, April 21 at 6:30pm.
If you are available, please attend this meeting and show your strong support for your rights protected under the Second Amendment! Also, please contact the Kure Beach Town Council and urge them to OPPOSE any town restrictions on your constitutional rights!
Meeting details can be found below. Please click the “Take Action” button to contact the Kure Beach Town Council!
This discussion could include a direct attack on your Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Council members should be reminded that state law places restrictions on local governments passing ordinances that would restrict Right-to-Carry permit holders from carrying firearms in public parks. Please express concerns that no action should be taken that would affect law-abiding gun owners, or that would violate state law.
Please consider attending the meeting and protecting your constitutional rights!
