South Carolina: Pro-Gun Bill Scheduled for Hearing Next Week

H. 4398, introduced by pro-gun state Representative Alan Clemmons (R-107), will be heard next week in the House Judiciary Committee’s General and Family Laws Subcommittee. This legislation seeks to amend South Carolina’s bankruptcy laws and recognize the fundamental right to personal protection by ensuring citizens who have fallen on hard times, financially, will not be required to sell all of their firearms maintained for personal protection in order to satisfy their debts.

The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16, at 9:00am in Room 516 of the Blatt Building. Please contact members of the General Laws Subcommittee and politely urge them to support H. 4398. Please click the “Take Action” button below to contact the Subcommittee members!
