On Thursday, January 28th, the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security is scheduled to hear 42 bills that could impact your Second Amendment rights. This hearing will take place in room A-1 from 10:00am–2:00pm at the State House on Beacon Hill.
It is important that pro-Second Amendment supporters attend this hearing to voice their support for pro-gun legislation and denounce anti-gun legislation that puts more regulations on law-abiding gun owners. We need our elected officials to understand that restricting the rights of lawful and responsible gun owners is not the appropriate solution to reduce crime. Gun control is not crime control.
By participating in this hearing, either by testifying or simply being present, you will have a chance to stand up for freedom. Input received at this public hearing could determine the direction and outcome the Massachusetts General Court takes on our Second Amendment rights this legislative session.
If you cannot attend this important public hearing, please contact your state Senator and state Representative TODAY and urge them to oppose any legislation that would infringe upon your Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
Please feel free to forward this email to friends, family and fellow Second Amendment supporters in Massachusetts and encourage them to do the same!
