On Wednesday, January 27, at 8:15 a.m., the Missouri Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee is scheduled to hear multiple bills which seek to expand self-defense laws on Missouri higher education campuses. Senate Bill 731, sponsored by state Senator Brian Munzlinger (R-18), and Senate Bill 589, sponsored by state Senator Bob Dixon (R-30), seek to remove restrictions in state law that prohibit law-abiding Right to Carry Permit holders from being able to protect themselves on college and university campuses.
It is important that you please contact members of the Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee and politely urge them to support Senate Bill 731 and Senate Bill 589 when they come up for a vote.
