A hearing is pending this week on Senate Bill 529 in the Missouri Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee. It is critical that you contact your state Senator immediately in support of this bill.
Introduced by Senator Bob Onder (R-2), SB 529 would provide that a person carrying a concealed firearm who possesses a valid concealed carry permit or endorsement must not be prohibited or impeded from accessing or using any publicly funded transportation system. The person may not be harassed or detained for carrying a concealed firearm on the property of such systems. This important legislation is expected to receive a hearing sometime this week and needs your support!
Please contact members of the Senate Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Safety Committee and urge them to support SB 529. Contact information for committee members is provided below.
