On January 21, the Wheeler County Commissioners unanimously passed a 2nd Amendment Preservation Ordinance which opposes any expansion of the Oregon background check system. In addition, the ordinance also opposes other unnecessary restrictions and regulations that could be placed on the law-abiding gun owners of Wheeler County. The passage of this resolution symbolizes the County’s willingness to protect its citizens’ Second Amendment rights.
Thank you to the County Commissioners for their willingness to stand firm for the people they represent and for protecting your rights.
