Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane announced this week that Pennsylvania has entered into an agreement with Utah to grant reciprocity to Pennsylvania carry permit holders. Pennsylvania will, in turn, recognize carry permits issued to residents of Utah.
As you may recall, earlier this year Pennsylvania stopped recognizing Utah permits. This formal agreement reinstates reciprocity. Pennsylvania now has formal written reciprocity agreements with twenty states that recognize a valid license to carry firearms issued by Pennsylvania. Conversely, Pennsylvania recognizes valid firearm carry licenses/permits from those states.
