Missouri: Self-Defense Legislation Passes in House

Yesterday, House Bill 533 passed in the Missouri House of Representatives by an overwhelming 126-25 vote. Sponsored by state Representative Jeannie Riddle (R-49), HB 533 would protect the right of a state employee to store a firearm in his or her private vehicle on state property as long as the vehicle is locked and the firearm is not visible.

House Bill 533 will be transmitted to the state Senate where it will be assigned to a committee. Please stay tuned to www.nraila.org for important updates on this self-defense reform.
