Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton (DFL) will be hosting another Town Hall meeting next Thursday, April 4, in Rochester. After the Governor’s public comments (see news article here), it is very important to attend and express your opposition to banning and criminalizing any private transfers of firearms – including those between certain family members, friends and hunting buddies. As reported by the NRA-ILA, the gun control bills moving through the state legislature that Governor Dayton supports are some of the most invasive infringements of the Second Amendment in recent memory.
It is imperative that Second Amendment supporters attend this Town Hall meeting and ask Governor Dayton why he supports restrictive measures that will do nothing to stop criminal misuse of firearms or reduce violent crime and that will only affect and punish law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen.
Meeting with Mark
Thursday, April 4
6:00 p.m.
Rochester Community and Technical College
851 30th Avenue SE
Rochester, Minnesota 55904
If you are unable to attend this meeting, please be sure to still contact Governor Mark Dayton by phone at (651) 201 – 3400 and e-mail him by clicking here. Be sure to ask Governor Dayton to support REAL solutions to Minnesota’s crime problem instead of misguided measures that will only criminalize law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen.
