In light of the egregious law passed at the behest of Gov. Cuomo, using secret deals behind closed doors, eliminating public input and circumventing normal legislative processes, NRA is fully committed to its members and all gun owners in New York. NRA, in cooperation with the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association (NYSRPA), is preparing appropriate legal action. After consultation with the leadership of the NYSRPA it was decided they were in the best position to assert the rights of their and NRA's members within the state on this matter. Our mutual goal is to proceed in the manner that best positions us for success. Future details will be forthcoming in the Grassroots Alert and at www.NRAILA.org.
