Before he was a candidate for President, Barack Obama was a state legislator in Illinois. He worked behind the scenes to push a radical anti Second Amendment agenda while gun owners suffered. He favored an all out ban on handguns in Illinois, co sponsored a bill rationing the purchase of guns, and opposed a bill which would allow homeowners to defend themselves in their homes with firearms.
