Yesterday, Louisiana State Police Colonel Mike Edmonson and Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced an agreement allowing Right-to-Carry reciprocity between their two states.
Louisiana will now recognize valid Right-to-Carry permits from Ohio and, in turn, Ohio will recognize valid permits from Louisiana.
Permit holders must comply with the laws that apply in whichever state they are traveling.
Louisiana now has Right-to-Carry reciprocity with thirty-six other states.
The NRA would like to thank Governor Bobby Jindal, Louisiana State Police Colonel Mike Edmonson and Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine for assisting us with this effort.
