Make your voice heard at the city council meeting
On Tuesday, September 27, Alexandria Aldermen will vote on an anti-gun resolution that will ban possession of firearms on the DeKalb County Fairgrounds, which are owned and leased out by the city.
The fairgrounds are often used for multiple events and functions throughout the year, which includes the county fair. If passed, this anti-gun resolution will clearly strip Alexandria residents and visitors of their self-defense rights.
The anti-gun resolution will come before the aldermen on Tuesday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the Alexandria Town Hall located at 102 High Street.
The NRA encourages you to attend this city council meeting. If you are unable to attend, please respectfully contact Alexandria aldermen and local Police Chief Mark Collins in opposition to this overreaching anti-gun resolution. Contact information can be found below.
