This Thursday, February 3rd at 7:30 p.m., Insights on PBS Hawaii has decided they needed to discuss gun control in the United States and whether or not the recent Arizona tragedy should prompt a closer look at Hawaii's gun laws.
Insights host Dan Boylan and a panel representing a variety of perspectives will look at the permit process, compare Hawaii's laws to that of other states, and discuss the Second Amendment as a whole.
Scheduled guests for this episode include Hawaii Rifle Association (HRA) Director Bill Richter, Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney Keith Kaneshiro, anti-gun former U.S. Congressman Ed Case, and Dean of the University of Hawaii School of Law, Avi Soifer.
Listeners may also e-mail questions ahead of time to [email protected] or can follow the event on twitter and add comments on the PBS twitter page at PBS Hawaii Twitter.
This is a great opportunity for Hawaii's gun owners to call in to voice their opinions in support of the Second Amendment and HRA's Bill Richter as he goes toe to toe with his anti-gun opponents.
