The issue allowing for the operation of indoor firing ranges in the city did not move anywhere in the legislative process, but received a warm reception when council first looked at the ordinance. The ordinance was first discussed in a committee meeting, with one of the partners involved with the first planned firing range on hand to field questions. Also in a show of support were several Boy Scouts and leaders of Troop 63 in Wooster.
