The state House of Representatives will return for a voting session next week, a move being applauded by Sen. Richard Alloway II. Alloway, R-Waynesboro, is urging a floor vote on legislation to expand the Castle Doctrine in Pennsylvania. House Bill 1926 passed the state Senate last month. The bill, supported by many gun advocates, eliminates the obligation for citizens to retreat when confronted by intruders in areas "where they have a right to be," such as their homes or cars.
