Fairfax, Va.-- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Tim Griffin for election to the U.S. House of Representatives for District 2 in Arkansas this November.
“Tim Griffin has vowed to support gun owners and hunters in Arkansas and is a champion of the Second Amendment,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. “I have known and worked with Tim for better than a decade. I can tell you from a personal and professional stand-point that there is no better candidate to protect and preserve your gun rights, and that’s why the NRA-PVF is endorsing Tim Griffin in Arkansas’ 2nd Congressional District.”
Tim Griffin’s commitment to preserving the Second Amendment has earned him an "AQ" rating and the endorsement of NRA-PVF.
Griffin supports national right-to-carry reciprocity and efforts to reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He also opposes reenacting the failed Clinton gun and magazine ban and believes sportsmen should have access to federally owned or administered lands for hunting, fishing, trapping and recreational shooting.
“Tim Griffin will be a strong voice in fighting ongoing efforts by anti-gun politicians to dismantle the Second Amendment,” Cox concluded. “We ask all Arkansas gun-owners and hunters to elect Tim Griffin to the U.S. House on November 2nd.”
Chris W. Cox is NRA's chief lobbyist. He also serves as chairman of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is responsible for political candidate rankings. These are based on candidate voting records, public statements and responses to NRA-PVF questionnaires.
