The Sporting Shooters' Association is frustrated laws around high powered rifles are to become tougher, saying it will do nothing to curb violent crime. Police Minister Judith Collins announced today she plans to seek cabinet approval for a new law so that would mean people must have a firearms licence to own or possess a high powered air rifle.
