Students at Utah Valley University and other public colleges in the state are free to carry concealed handguns on campus if they have a permit. Nick Moyes is one of them. "It's about self defense, the ability to defend yourself," said Moyes, 28, a student who brings his Sig Sauer P 226 9mm handgun onto campus in Orem, Utah, every chance he gets. "That's a God given right."
