A bill to limit local regulation of knives is carving its way through the Arizona legislature. The Senate today passed SB1153, which has is supported by National Rifle Association, Arizona's NRA affiliate, the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, Arizona Citizens Defense League, Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Supporters say the measure will help citizens who currently face a patchwork of knife related rules in Arizona's towns, cities and counties.
