On Thursday, February 18, House Bill 1065 successfully passed second reading and will now head to the Senate floor for third and final reading early next week! The Senate also passed House Bill 1068 on third reading by a unanimous vote (48 to 0) and will now head back to the House for concurrence.

The Senate also voted to block attempts by big businesses to water-down HB 1065 which would have created large loopholes that would allow businesses to exempt themselves from the Parking Lot legislation.
