On Tuesday, February 16, House Bill 330 (no-net-loss legislation) unanimously passed the House of Representative 95 to 0. HB330 will now move to the Senate.
HB330, sponsored by State Representative Craig Ford (D-28), would require that the state maintain at least the same level of available public hunting land that currently exists. It requires that additional lands be opened to hunting if land that is currently open to hunting is closed.
