On Tuesday, February 16, the House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee will consider House Bill 1635.
This legislation would infringe upon our Second Amendment rights by outlawing the possession of firearms in state or town buildings, including state-operated rest areas, the university system/community college system of New Hampshire, the State House complex, etc.
Enactment of HB1635 would create victim zones by disarming potential crime victims. Moreover, because posting of prohibited premises would be “optional,” a person could enter into a prohibited property or place unknowingly and become a felon for life.
