On Tuesday, January 20, Senate Bill 70 was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee. It is scheduled to be heard on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:45 a.m.
Sponsored by State Senator Larry Rhoden (R-29), SB 70 will remove the mandatory post-purchase 48-hour waiting period that was previously in place for those who did not have a valid permit to carry a concealed pistol.
