As early as today, Tuesday, January 29, the Indiana Senate could vote on Senate Bill 356, authored by Senator Johnny Nugent (R-43). This critically important measure will further enhance Indiana’s self-defense and Right-to-Carry statutes by allowing Right-to-Carry permit holders to carry a firearm as self-defense in all publicly-owned buildings, with certain exemptions for airports, penal facilities, and county courthouses.
Again, this important legislation is likely to be voted on by the full Senate later today. Please contact your State Senator immediately and strongly encourage him or her to vote for SB356 in its current form!
