Please Testify and Make Your Voice Heard!
Assembly Bill 95, introduced by Assemblywoman Valerie Weber (R-5), the measure that would restrict the confiscation of firearms from law abiding gun owners in a declared state of emergency, is slated to be heard before the Assembly Government Affairs Committee on Thursday, April 12th at 8:00 a.m. Testimony will be open to the public in Carson City, as well as in Las Vegas at the Grant Sawyer Building, Room 4406.
Please take the time to attend the hearing and voice your support for this important and necessary measure. The members of the Government Affairs Committee have been overwhelmed with calls and emails on AB 95, so your voice is being heard.
We are asking that you take time out of your busy schedules to testify at either venue, or log onto the Nevada Legislature website at www.leg.state.nv.us and give your opinion on AB 95 in the Opinion Poll section to the right of your computer screen. These polls are viewed by the legislators and are often used in testimony during the committee hearings.
