The Fish and Wildlife Service has released a draft comprehensive conservation plan for this east-central North Dakota refuge. The refuge was specifically created for migratory birds and provides hunting opportunities. The draft plan provides three alternatives for managing the refuge for the next 15 years.
It is important that the refuge hears from hunters to ensure hunting is protected.
