Update on Pending Indiana Firearm Legislation!

Please Contact Your State Legislators Today!

The State Senate has passed Senate Bill 18, sponsored by Senator Brent Steele (R-44), which would repeal the provision that requires licensed dealers to provide the State Police with copies of federal form 4473 for approved handgun purchases.

Also, two similar proposals in the House, House Bill 1739, sponsored by State Representative Scott Pelath (D-9) and House Bill 1200 authored by State Representative Mike Murphy (R-90), have been rolled together and could be on the House floor as early as Monday, February 5.

Please call your State Representative at (317)-232-9600 and respectfully urge him or her to vote for SB18 and HB1739.
