The Assembly Republican Hunting and Fishing Task Force heard from Hudson Valley sportsmen and fishermen at a hearing in Orange County. Orange County Federation of Sportsmen`s Clubs official Rich McCoy was representative of all who spoke, saying there is a need to get the kids more involved. "All aspects, fishing, hunting, firearm safety, just to get the kids out of the house, off the couch, get them into the outdoors," he said.
