Floridians who buy hunting or fishing licenses would be able to pick up applications to register to vote at the same time, under a bill approved Friday by the Legislature. The Senate voted 31-8 for the plan, which was pushed by the National Rifle Association and modeled after a Georgia law dubbed the "Shooter Voter" act. The bill breezed through the House 110-6 last week and heads now to Gov. Jeb Bush's desk.
