Wisconsin will find itself in rare company next year, after Nebraska`s governor signed legislation Wednesday that lifts that state`s ban on carrying concealed weapons Jan. 1, 2007. Republican Gov. Dave Heineman`s approval of carry legislation comes two weeks after the Kansas Legislature overrode a veto of a similar measure by that state`s governor. The two states` actions leave Wisconsin and Illinois as the only states that still prohibit carrying.
