, a NRA-supported bill byAssemblyman Richard Perkins (D-23, Clark County), which clarifies the Nevada Revised Statutes regarding the definition of concealed carry, passed unanimously out of theAssembly. It is now headed to theSenate.
AB 232 will also amend state law to allow for compliance with the federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004, which allows for retired law enforcement officers authorized under the federal law to carry a concealed firearm.
