The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Matt Blunt, long-time advocate of gun owners and sportsmen, for Governor of Missouri. NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and Chief Lobbyist Chris W. Cox announced NRA’s support of Blunt at a series of rallies across Missouri on October 5th."Matt Blunt’s commitment to protecting the rights of Missouri’s law-abiding gun owners has earned him an ‘A’ rating and NRA’s endorsement," said LaPierre. "We urge all NRA members, law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen to support him at the polls on November 2nd."
"Matt Blunt’s record as a defender of freedom makes him the clear choice for the people of Missouri," added Cox. "As a member of the Missouri House of Representatives and as Secretary of State, Matt has been instrumental in defeating gun control legislation and passing gun rights bills.
