The Ammunition Sales Registration Bill, SB1152, would require any person engaged in the retail sale of ammunition to record the date, the name, address, and date of birth of the transferee, a thumbprint, and to make the information available to peace officers. This bill would also outlaw the sale of ammunition to a person under 18 years of age. This bill is currently on the Senate floor and could be voted on at any time.
